Students of Kharkiv Lyceums Visited DSUIA on a Career Guidance Tour

A career guidance event was held for 11th-grade students of the Kharkiv Lyceum with Enhanced Military and Physical Training “Law Enforcement Officer” of the Kharkiv Regional Council and the Kharkiv Lyceum with Enhanced Military and Physical Training “Rescuer” of the Kharkiv Regional Council.

The purpose of the visit was to familiarize students with the conditions of study at the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, its educational programs, and the practical training of future law enforcement officers.

During their stay at DSUIA, the lyceum students attended classes together with cadets, learned about the daily schedule, and experienced the atmosphere of the university that shapes future specialists of the Ministry of Internal Affairs system.

The guests visited several educational locations, including the investigative and forensic training ground and the courtroom, where they observed a simulation of a court hearing. At the mediation office, the students learned about the role of psychologists and mediators in conflict resolution.

At the tactical training area, practical exercises were held using training weapons, special equipment, and tactical techniques. In the special physical training center, cadets performed demonstration sessions showcasing the level of fitness required for admission to the university.

In addition, the students visited the university’s training ground, where they watched drone piloting competitions and observed how modern technologies are integrated into the training of future law enforcement officers.

Such career guidance activities help high school students make conscious career choices, foster respect for law enforcement professions, and motivate them to continue their education within the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
