At the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, a ceremony was held to present student IDs to the first-year students of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Innovative Education.
The event began with the performance of the State Anthem of Ukraine. The attendees honored the memory of fallen defenders of Ukraine with a moment of silence — those who gave their lives for the independence and freedom of the state.
With a welcoming speech, Director of the Institute of Law and Innovative Education of DSUIA, Volodymyr Shablystyi, addressed the freshmen. He wished the students success in their studies, perseverance, creative inspiration, and a worthy continuation of the university’s traditions. He emphasized that student life is a time of discovery, self-development, and the formation of future professionals devoted to serving society.
After the welcoming words, an official ceremony of presenting student IDs took place. The IDs were handed to the freshmen by the Director of the Institute, Volodymyr Shablystyi, Deputy Directors Maksym Pochtovyi and Liliia Mezhevska, Deputy Head of the Patrol Police Department in the Dnipropetrovsk Region, Police Lieutenant Colonel Viacheslav Masliuk, and Professor of the Department of Psychology and Pedagogy, Viktoriia Savishchenko.

All students solemnly took the “Freshman’s Oath,” promising to study diligently, respect their teachers, uphold the honor of the university, and actively participate in the life of the higher education institution.

The festive atmosphere was complemented by a musical performance from DSUIA student Sofiia Silina.
