Memorial events were held near the Monument to fallen defenders of law and order.
Together with representatives of regional and city leadership, the public and law enforcement structures, flowers to the foot of the monument were laid by cadets of DSUIA and officers of the higher education institution.
Memory of the fallen law enforcement officers helps cadets and the young generation to realize the value of the chosen profession — service to the state, citizens, law. This is part of professional honor and continuation of service traditions. Honoring the fallen — is a manifestation of gratitude to those who gave their lives for the safety of others, and at the same time a reminder that service — is not only a duty, but also a calling.
