Cadets of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs have joined a series of volunteer initiatives in support of Ukrainian soldiers.

Together with the volunteer center “Knot of Help,” the students work weekly on weaving camouflage nets. The cadets select and cut fabric, tie knots, and deliver the finished nets to the active front-line areas. This strengthens the protection of Ukrainian fighters in their positions and helps them stay hidden from enemy reconnaissance.

In addition to weaving, the cadets sort recyclable materials that are later used for transporting aid. The initiative of sewing pillows also continues: the students have already delivered over 70 fleece-made pillows to soldiers to help equip rest areas in challenging field conditions. From cutting the fabric to filling it with synthetic fiber, each stage of the work is carried out with gratitude and care.

The cadets also do not forget about those who are recovering. Recently, they visited wounded servicemen undergoing rehabilitation at the Dnipro Ministry of Internal Affairs Hospital, where they brought treats and volunteer assistance. The goal of such visits is to support the morale of the wounded, express gratitude for their bravery, and show society’s support.

Volunteer activity fosters a sense of humanity, responsibility, and teamwork among future police officers. It unites young people around a shared goal — to support the army, help those in need, and together bring Ukraine’s victory closer.
