Master class on petanque for patients of Superhumans Dnipro from representatives of DSUIA

The event was held by senior lecturer of the department of special physical training Marharyta Chobotko, military veteran, university employee Ivan Zmiievskyi and representative of the Petanque Federation of Ukraine in Dnipropetrovsk region, research fellow of the research laboratory of preventive activity and sociological studies Vitalii Krysan.

At Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs special attention is paid to the development of adaptive sports and popularization of an active lifestyle among veterans and persons undergoing rehabilitation.

The class was held with the purpose of acquainting participants with the rules of the game, its history and benefits for physical and psychological recovery. During the event representatives of DSUIA demonstrated the technique of the game and involved all those willing to try their own strength in competitions.

At DSUIA for several months regular training sessions in petanque are held, and the team of military veterans of the university has repeatedly won prize places in competitions. This game combines precision, strategy and team interaction, helping to develop fine motor skills, relieve psychological tension and strengthen the spirit of unity.

Such events contribute to the social adaptation of veterans and people undergoing rehabilitation, giving them the opportunity for communication, recovery and motivation for an active life.
