The first class on the topic “Psychological balance of a young police officer in conditions of martial law” was conducted by leading psychologist of the department of psychological support of DSUIA Hanna Mhlynets.

The event was held for cadets of the faculty of training specialists for pre-trial investigation bodies of the NPU with the purpose of acquainting with professionally necessary qualities of a police officer, understanding how they manifest in different spheres of life and service activity, as well as realization of own strong and weak sides. Special attention was focused on issues of maintaining psychological balance in conditions of increased workload during martial law.

The main emphasis was made on the development of psychophysiological and psychological qualities of police employees. The trainer emphasized that responsible attitude to service duties is necessary to combine with careful attitude to own internal resource. It is this that forms skills of managing emotions, ability to establish life priorities and timely care for physical health.

Head of the department of psychological support Serhii Vyshnevskyi noted the high interest of cadets in the topic of the class, especially its practical part, which contributes to the development and improvement of professionally important qualities of future police officers.
