Lectures from veterans: cadets of DSUIA adopt the experience of defenders of Ukraine

NEWS

At Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs continues a cycle of classes and meetings with military veterans, aimed at the formation in future law enforcement officers of practical skills, patriotism and understanding of the realities of wartime.

The class with cadets of the faculty of training specialists for pre-trial investigation bodies of the NPU was conducted by military veteran, university employee Pavlo Ostrohliadov. Under his leadership cadets familiarized themselves with the structure and types of combat missiles, the history of their development and principles of functioning. The speaker emphasized the importance of observing safety rules during the detection of dangerous objects and the necessity of deep understanding of the construction of weapons.

Another meeting of cadets of the same faculty took place with the participation of military veteran V’iacheslav Lisenko, who with the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the rf volunteered to join the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Senior soldier, shooter-operator of the AFU, he shared his experience, told about modern challenges of military service and features of criminality in frontline territories.

Such meetings with veterans contribute to the formation in cadets of professional knowledge and internal resilience, patriotism and professional responsibility — qualities without which it is impossible to imagine a modern law enforcement officer.
