In the electoral process took part 18 candidates, each of whom presented their own program.
At Dnipro Lyceum of security direction and national-patriotic education of the Ministry of Internal Affairs named after O. Hostishchev operates lyceum self-government. Head of the self-government Kyrylo DOROSHENKO (whom by tradition call Koshovyi otaman) and members of the self-government (starshyny) reported about their activity, told about achievements, realized initiatives and gained experience. In particular, lyceum students achieved success in sports, creativity, actively took part in projects of the Small Academy of Sciences etc.

Elections took place in accordance with all rules and norms of the democratic process: voting was secret, ballots were distributed to each lyceum student separately. Lyceum students demonstrated serious and responsible attitude to participation in elections, confirming the importance of the role of self-government in forming an active civic position.



Heads of the lyceum noted that the system of self-government has deep historical roots, connected with traditions of Ukrainian Cossackdom, and contributes to the development of leadership qualities, initiative and responsibility among pupils.
Koshovyi otaman of the lyceum was elected Ivan NEHODA, deputy of Koshovyi – MAKSYM RUDEV.
Ivan NEHODA and Maksym RUDEV – lyceum students of the 1st year, platoon commanders, have a high level of academic achievements. For a short period the boys managed to become reliable friends for their platoons, gained authority among others, became advisors and inspirers, those who are always ready to come to help.

Starshyny by directions became:
● informational-media direction – Vira MEDYK;
● legal, moral-ethical and disciplinary direction – MAKSYM RUDEV;
● volunteer-patriotic direction – Danylo PRYVALOV;
● cultural-artistic direction – Mariia MOROZ;
● physical-health and touristic direction – Alona BURDINA.
New leaders received support of peers and are already ready to realize their ideas, aimed at improving the educational process, leisure and everyday life of lyceum students.
