Career guidance work continues: representatives of DSUIA acquaint youth with advantages of education

Representatives of DSUIA continue active career guidance activity, aimed at acquainting school youth with opportunities of education at the university, conditions of admission and features of future professions of lawyer and police officer.

Senior lecturer of the department of operational-search activity of the faculty of training specialists for criminal police units of the NPU Eduard Kopylov conducted an online meeting with students of 11th grades of lyceums No. 7 and No. 23 of Rivne City Council. Schoolchildren learned about the activity of the faculty, directions of training, conditions of admission and opportunities of future employment of graduates.

Deputy dean of the faculty Maksym Bohuslavskyi together with inspector of the personnel support sector of Nikopol District Police Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk region Daria Zhyro conducted an online event for students of Nikopol Lyceum No. 8. Senior students received information about the university and communicated with a third-year cadet who shared own experience of education and adaptation to cadet life.

Career guidance work was conducted also during sports competitions: during the Ukraine Cup in kettlebell sport, which took place in Kyiv, representatives of DSUIA conducted informational talks with youth, telling about features of education at the institution. According to the results of communication participants of the meeting expressed a desire to enroll in DSUIA.

Besides, representatives of the RTI of law and innovative education organized an informational event for students of Dnipro Lyceum No. 97. Schoolchildren were acquainted with the history of DSUIA, its structure, conditions of admission and modern approaches to education. Special attention deserved the practical block — demonstration of first aid skills by military veteran Serhii Basinov, who is an employee of the university. The military showed main techniques of stopping bleeding and applying a hemostatic tourniquet.
