Police officers met with Colonel of Police Ihor Kovalov, Vice-Rector of the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs.
The community police officers represent the Dnipropetrovsk, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, and Khmelnytskyi regions. Twenty-four law enforcement officers will undergo specialization training at the Department of Advanced Training and Specialization of the Institute of Postgraduate Education and Distance Learning.

Over four weeks, the officers will complete a specialization program covering topics such as constitutionalism, human rights, stress resistance, and effective communication. Participants will also study anti-corruption legislation and take part in firearms and tactical training. Special attention during the course will be given to the specifics of a community police officer’s duties.
During the briefing, Ihor Kovalov emphasized safety measures and behavioral guidelines both on university premises and throughout the training period. This specialization provides an opportunity to significantly enhance professional knowledge and skills — particularly valuable for police officers operating under martial law conditions.
