The university was recognized for its active participation in the project and its significant contribution to the city’s environmental initiatives.

In Dnipro, the results of this year’s “Eco-Consciousness of Dnipro” project were summarized. The initiative included a series of environmental and charitable activities. The official ceremony took place at the Dnipro City Council, with the participation of representatives from the Department of Environmental Policy and the public organization “Academy of Social Research.” The certificate of appreciation, on behalf of the university, was presented to Lieutenant Colonel Nataliia Karnaukh, Head of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work.

In September, DSUIA cadets took part in a large-scale cleanup of the Dnipro embankment as part of World Cleanup Day. The collected waste was subsequently sent to a recycling station.

In addition to improving the city’s environmental condition and promoting ecological awareness among residents, the project also aimed to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The funds raised from recycling were used to purchase personal heaters for the soldiers of the 23rd Separate Mechanized Brigade.

This is not the first time DSUIA has joined the city’s environmental and social initiatives. The university consistently implements activities aimed at environmental education for cadets, participates in volunteer campaigns, and actively supports Ukraine’s defenders.
