Police special forces KORD met with students of DSUIA

At Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs fighters of the special purpose regiment “KORD” (shooting) of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk region told about their achievements on the battlefield.

The meeting was opened by vice-rector of DSUIA police colonel Ihor Kovalov.

Participation in the event took representatives of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk region and advisor to the head of the Main Directorate on issues of veteran policy Denys Skaleukh.

During the meeting police special forces told about the activity of the unit, tasks that they perform on the frontline, as well as demonstrated samples of weapons and special equipment.

Participants learned that the main task of the regiment is the implementation of measures for the defense of Ukraine, ensuring and realization of the legal regime of martial law, in particular in interaction with other components of the security and defense sector of the state.

A similar meeting was held for students of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Innovative Education of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, majoring in K9 Law Enforcement, D8 Law, and S4 Psychology.

For students, such meetings serve as an opportunity to deepen their practical knowledge and prepare for future employment and professional development.

Was noted that in the structure of the regiment function departments of servicing UAVs, tactical-special training, radio-electronic intelligence, explosive-technical department, cartographic department, department of planning and conducting special operations etc.

Told that recruitment to the unit is carried out both among civilian youth and from among acting police officers.

Such meetings increase awareness regarding functions that police officers perform, protecting the freedom of the people of Ukraine, and motivate to service in special purpose units.
