Took place a joint training in cybersport with participation of pupils of Dnipro Lyceum of the Ministry of Internal Affairs named after O. Hostishchev and military veterans who are actively involved in the sports and social life of the university.
Participants practiced strategies of the game Counter-Strike 2, team interaction and tactical skills necessary for achieving success in competitions. Such trainings contribute to the development of reaction, strategic thinking, concentration and ability to work in a team. Participation in the event took military veterans: deputy head of the course of the RTI of training specialists for preventive activity units of the NPU Ivan Zmiievskyi and assistant duty officer Vladyslav Sychov.
Organizers note that in the future is planned conducting of similar trainings already with students and cadets of DSUIA, after which competitions between teams will take place.
Cybersport in this format has one more important mission — support of socialization of veterans, their adaptation to civilian life through communication, common interests and integration into the youth environment.
Communication of lyceum students with veterans became an important element of transmission of life experience, upbringing of mutual respect, team spirit and sense of patriotism.
