A quiz on the subject “Foreign Language for Professional Purposes” titled “Detective Quiz” was held at Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs.
The event was organized by Professor of the Department of Language Training, Volodymyr Krasnopolskyi, and Senior Lecturer of the Department, Hanna Dekusar.
Cadets from the Faculty of Training for Pre-Trial Investigation Units of the National Police of Ukraine took part in the quiz.
Participants completed tasks in English, solved cases related to crime investigation, and demonstrated logical thinking, attentiveness, and teamwork skills.
The best result was achieved by Team No. 4, which included cadets Kateryna Tkachenko, Tymur Kukarin, Dmytro Prisniak, Denys Burov, and Valerii Nesmashnyi.
All participants received sweet gifts from the organizers.
Such initiatives contribute to improving foreign language proficiency, developing critical thinking, and fostering professional culture among future law enforcement officers.
