“(Un)Ethical AI”: Online Meeting at DSUIA

An open online event on the topic “(Un)Ethical Generative Artificial Intelligence” was held at Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, bringing together everyone interested in discussing issues of academic integrity and the ethical use of artificial intelligence.

The speaker was Artem Artiukhov, Head of the Ukrainian Office of Research Integrity and Chair of the Ethics Committee of the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance.

During the event, the speaker discussed the current challenges associated with the use of artificial intelligence in education and science, particularly the boundaries of acceptable use of such technologies in the learning process, in writing academic papers, and in conducting research.

Special attention was given to issues of academic ethics, the responsibility of researchers, and the importance of fostering a culture of integrity in modern conditions.

The online meeting was attended by academic and teaching staff, higher education students, and all those interested in the development of ethical standards in science and education. The event provided a valuable platform for exchanging ideas and helped raise awareness about the responsible use of modern technologies.
