The event was organized by the Department of Information Technologies with the support of the university administration and the participation of Major of Police Dmytro Danchenko, Head of the Department for Combating Cybercrime in Dnipropetrovsk Region of the Cyber Police Department of the National Police of Ukraine.

The session was attended by cadets and students of the university, as well as pupils of the Dnipro Lyceum of Security and National-Patriotic Education of the Ministry of Internal Affairs named after O. Hostishchev.


The event was opened by Acting Head of the Department of Information Technologies, Yuliia Synytsyna, who emphasized the importance of developing digital literacy and cyber hygiene among learners.
During the class, participants explored the key concepts of cyberspace and cybersecurity, current threats in the digital environment, as well as the roles and responsibilities of cyberspace participants.
As part of the practical session, participants analyzed examples of phishing emails, learned to identify suspicious email addresses and domains, fake links and attachments, as well as psychological manipulation techniques used by cybercriminals.
The session contributed to raising awareness of digital risks and improving practical cyber hygiene skills among future law enforcement professionals.
