In detail about DSUIA: career guidance events in the city of Cherkasy

By the faculty of training specialists for criminal police units of the NPU with active assistance of the university leadership was organized a trip to the city of Cherkasy with the aim of conducting career guidance events among pupils of 11th grades of local lyceums and schools.

Meetings with schoolchildren were conducted by deputy dean for educational and scientific-research activity of the faculty of training specialists for criminal police units of the NPU Maksym Bohuslavskyi, head of the department of administrative-legal disciplines of the RTI of law and innovative education Iryna Dziuba, cadet of group KP-334 of the faculty of training specialists for criminal police units of the NPU, police corporal Rostyslav Khomenko, student of group YuD-341 of the RTI of law and innovative education Sofiia Silina and psychologist of the sector of personnel support of Cherkasy District Police Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Cherkasy region, police lieutenant Bozhena Kovalenko.

Pupils of graduating classes of Cherkasy specialized school No.33 named after Vasyl Symonenko, Cherkasy general education school of I–III degrees No.21 named after Yu. H. Illienko, Cherkasy gymnasium No.31, Educational complex “General education school of I–III degrees – lyceum of sports profile No.34” of Cherkasy city council and Cherkasy general education school of I–III degrees No.22 learned about the procedure and conditions of admission to DSUIA, faculties and specialties of the university, and also watched a video presentation of the institution.

During the communication with Rostyslav Khomenko and Sofiia Silina pupils received meaningful information about life and studying of cadets and students, opportunities of visiting sports sections, participation in scientific work of university departments, and also exhaustive answers to questions regarding organization of the educational process, daily schedule, spending free time and preparation for classes.

Such events help graduates consciously choose future profession, better navigate in requirements of the admission campaign and in advance prepare for studying at the higher education institution.
