Online-meetings with EUAM experts: continue binary lessons for cadets of DSUIA

To the conducting of lessons joined prosecutor from Lithuania, expert of the Advisory Mission of the European Union Gediminas Bučiūnas. The event was organized by professor of the department of criminal procedure, police major Viktoriia Rohalska.

The topic of the meeting became “Investigative (search) actions”. Cadets learned from lecturers about international and national experience of conducting interrogations according to the methodology of procedural interview. Special attention was paid to work with victims of sexual violence in conditions of armed conflict. Under the guidance of teachers seekers modeled interrogation of a witness in a court session during pre-trial investigation.

Cadets also received thorough answers from Gediminas Bučiūnas to all questions that concerned features of conducting pre-trial investigation and conducting separate investigative (search) actions, in particular tactics of interrogation, fixation of evidence and interaction with specialists.

The event became a useful practical addition to the educational process, allowed cadets to deepen their knowledge and bring them closer to the realities of modern law enforcement activity. It also contributed to the development of professional communication and understanding of European standards in the sphere of criminal proceedings.
