The events were conducted by the department of tactical-special training of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs.
Participation in the advanced training took scientific-pedagogical (pedagogical) employees who ensure teaching of the academic discipline “Tactical-special training” in educational institutions with specific conditions of learning that carry out training of police officers.
The first day of training was dedicated to the study of modern tactical principles and model of force application, tactics of actions at different levels of resistance and work of small groups, patrolling with the use of UAVs, algorithm MARCH and basics of identification of explosive objects.
In the next two days participants continued work at the objects of the university. In particular, was practiced tactics of activity of police officers according to the Scandinavian model, internal inspection of buildings, counteraction to “active shooter”, forced removal from driving and stopping of vehicles with high level of risk with practicing of tactics of evacuation of a police officer.
Was practiced features and tactics of using UAVs by employees of the National Police of Ukraine during performing service-combat tasks. Were considered features of using the software-hardware complex “Kropiva”, messenger “MilChat”, offline world map based on OpenStreetMap – “OsmAnd”, situational awareness system “Delta” and platform of video analysis of the battlefield “Vezha”. Also was practiced tactics of work of small groups during performing service-combat tasks.
Besides, participants of the advanced training mastered basics of topography and orientation on the terrain, engineering training of a police officer for performing service-combat tasks.
Were considered tasks, functions and basics of activity of units of the National Police that according to the legislation take part in performing tasks of territorial defense, ensuring and implementation of measures of the legal regime of martial law in case of its declaration on the whole territory of Ukraine or in a separate locality; structure of combined units, system of management of a combined unit, organization of interaction and features of conducting combat actions.
Special attention was focused on the organization and methodology of conducting academic lessons on the topic “Stopping a vehicle for checking at a checkpoint. Also was raised the issue of features of using the “Information Portal of the National Police”.
In the final of training participants passed a final control that consisted of theoretical and practical parts, and exchanged opinions regarding improvement of such events.
Upon completion of the event all participants received appropriate certificates.
