The aim of the event became prevention of cases of aggression, violence and bullying in the pupil environment as well as formation of stable intolerance to such manifestations.
At Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs took place a lesson for pupils of 10-A class of Dnipro Lyceum No.67 “Dzherelo” of Dnipro city council on the topic: “Bullying: Legal dimension of the problem”.
The event was organized by the department of administrative law and process of the RTI of training specialists for preventive activity units of the NPU together with the department of civil-legal disciplines of the RTI of law and innovative education of DSUIA.
A special feature of the event became the use of the training polygon “Child-friendly crisis room”. The lesson was conducted by associate professor of the department of administrative law and process, doctor of philosophy in the field of law, senior police lieutenant Karina Pisotska and senior lecturer of the same department Mykola Repan.
To them joined inspector of the sector of juvenile prevention of the prevention department of Dnipro District Police Department No.1 of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk region senior police lieutenant Maksym Dubovyk.
Lyceum students felt themselves as police officers, acquainted themselves with the specificity of work of law enforcement officers. Pupils took part in simulation exercises that imitated real situations during stopping of bullying (harassment). This allowed lyceum students to deepen knowledge about the legal dimension of the problem and feel themselves as part of law enforcement activity.
