The information received at the meeting will be useful to lyceum students during studying in higher education institutions.
The conversation “Scientific-research work of higher education seekers in HEIs of Ukraine” was prepared and conducted by the active members of the Scientific Society with the assistance of the department of organization of scientific activity.
In the opening speech senior research fellow of the department of organization of scientific work Olena Shkurko noted that scientific activity is an integral component of the educational process in Ukrainian higher education institutions because a modern specialist must possess not only fundamental knowledge but also experience of creative and research work, therefore the proposed topic of the meeting will be interesting to those lyceum students who plan further studying in higher education institutions, in particular in Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs.
Secretary of the Scientific Society Lola Nemonova told pupils of the lyceum about educational-research forms of scientific activity of seekers in higher education institutions of Ukraine and its significance for the development of skills to acquire new knowledge, analyze received information, think critically etc.


Head of the STSHE Maria Khlivna informed lyceum students about scientific work of seekers who study at DSUIA.


Hanna Terekhova, deputy head of the Scientific Society, shared experience of preparation, writing and defense of the work for which in the previous academic year she received a diploma of I degree at the contest of scientific works of seekers of the first (bachelor) level of higher education of higher education institutions that belong to the sphere of management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

The event took place in the format of live communication: pupils of the lyceum asked speakers about facts interesting to them regarding studying at DSUIA, features of preparation for writing contest works and their defense, experience of participation in various scientific events etc.
