A meeting between DSUIA cadets and a veteran of the Russian-Ukrainian war was held at the university

The meeting took place as part of a curator’s hour for cadets of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units of the National Police of Ukraine, on the occasion of the Day of Dignity and Freedom.

The event was organized by Marina Lohinova, Police Captain and Lecturer of the Department of Civil Law Disciplines, with the participation of military veteran Kostiantyn Khodak.

Kostiantyn Khodak shared his memories and reflections formed during his participation in combat operations. He emphasized the importance of life values, courage, civic consciousness, and the readiness of every Ukrainian to defend their state. The discussion also touched upon the development of patriotism, resilience, and a responsible attitude toward the future profession of a police officer.

At the end of the meeting, the topic of academic performance and cadets’ learning achievements was addressed. Curator Marina Lohinova encouraged the youth to improve their knowledge and work on their professional development.

The event became an important component of patriotic education for students and provided cadets with an opportunity to reflect on the role each individual plays in preserving Ukraine’s freedom and independence.
