Cadets of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units of the National Police of Ukraine at Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs took part in the event.
The session on the topic “Analytical tools used to solve crimes committed with the use of vehicles” was conducted by inspectors of the Operational Monitoring Division of the Criminal Analysis Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Zaporizhzhia Region — Police Lieutenant Vladyslav Syzonenko and Police Captain Yevhenii Samoilenko.
During the session, participants reviewed the capabilities of analytical tools for identifying, searching, collecting information, and analyzing data on vehicles, which play an important role in enhancing the effectiveness of solving crimes involving their use.
Special attention was given to the functioning of subsystems and analytical video surveillance modules that allow tracking the movement of individuals and vehicles, recording events in real time, and forming an evidence base.
Analytical specialists emphasized that the combination of modern video surveillance systems and analytical products significantly improves public safety and contributes to the prompt solving of criminal offenses.
