On the occasion of World Children’s Day to the creative lesson were invited children of military veterans, defenders, police officers and workers of the security sector. The event was organized with the support and assistance of the university leadership.
The master-class was conducted by leading psychologist of the department of psychological support of DSUIA Anna Mhlynets who is also a professional artist and art-therapist.
She helped participants through drawing to express their emotions, get rid of anxiety, strengthen the feeling of safety and also experience the experience of support and unity in the circle of peers.

Head of the department of psychological support Serhii Vyshnevskyi noted that the creative process became for children a space where they could speak the language of colors about their dreams, hopes and faith in the future Victory. With pleasure to the creation of works joined also parents who accompanied children which created a special family atmosphere.






Anna Mhlynets at the end of the meeting emphasized that such meetings are important because art is an effective means of emotional recovery allows children of veterans and defenders to feel attention care and realize that their experiences are heard and accepted. This also contributes to formation of resilience and positive vision of the future.
To the event were also invited pupils of Dnipro Lyceum of the Ministry of Internal Affairs named after O. Hostishchev who were able not only to take part in creation of pictures but also helped younger participants with technical moments.


Works later will be placed on the pages of the image calendar of DSUIA where each drawing will become a symbol of children’s faith strength and indestructibility.
After the event all participants were invited to taste sweets and communicate already in a more informal atmosphere.
