At the RTI of law and innovative education of DSUIA took place a lesson for higher education seekers of the 1st year of the specialty “K9 – Law enforcement activity” with involvement of a practical employee of the Security Service of Ukraine.
To the meeting was involved a practical specialist employee of the Main Directorate for countering systemic threats to state governance of the Department of protection of national statehood of the Security Service of Ukraine.
Higher education seekers received professional explanations regarding current mechanisms of countering illegal migration in particular: normative-legal foundations of combating illegal crossing of the state border; features of identification of channels of migration offenses; current challenges related to international migration processes etc.
Attention was focused on the specifics of the legal regime of martial law and its impact on the organization of protection of the state border; activities of forces of the security and defense sector; restriction of rights and freedoms of citizens in emergency conditions; procedure of movement of persons and control over compliance with migration legislation.
Students actively joined the discussion demonstrating a high level of interest and professional readiness. During the discussion they asked questions regarding features of documenting offenses related to illegal migration role of young specialists in formation of an effective system of national security legal status of servicemen and civilian persons during the period of martial law and others.
The meeting became an important component of preparation of future specialists in the sphere of law enforcement activity made it possible to combine theoretical knowledge with practical experience and contributed to formation of a systemic understanding of current threats and ways of their neutralization.
