The event was organized by the department of administrative law and process within the framework of teaching the discipline “Organization of activity of community police officers”.
At Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs took place a meeting of the head of the department of prevention of committing detection and stopping of offenses — deputy commander of military unit A2256 colonel Maksym Chernii with community police officers who are undergoing training under the specialization program at the base of the department of organization of advanced training and specialization of the Institute of postgraduate education and distance learning.
The topic of the lesson was determined as interaction of a community police officer with state authorities bodies of local self-government the public and other units in the sphere of prevention of offenses.
Maksym Chernii detailed characterized tasks and functions of the Military Service of Law and Order created in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On the Military Service of Law and Order in the Armed Forces of Ukraine” and explained main normative-legal acts that regulate responsibility of servicemen for crimes disciplinary offenses and other offenses.
In conditions of martial law coordination between the MSLO and the National Police is a critically important component of ensuring public safety operational response to threats and proper documentation of offenses committed by servicemen.
Special attention was paid to the algorithm of joint actions in case of detection of offenses by servicemen in particular the procedure of detention fixation of circumstances of the event and informing competent authorities. Practical mechanisms of increasing effectiveness of interaction between police units and MSLO in the process of ensuring law and order were discussed.
The lesson aroused considerable interest and contributed to formation of a common professional vision regarding prevention of offenses during the period of martial law.
