Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs was represented by military veterans Ivan Zmiievskyi and specialist in veteran support Viacheslav Panin.
In the meeting with the representative of the Ministry of Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine Oleksii Kubar also took part advisor to the head of Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Bohdan Ilchenko advisor to the head of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk region on veteran policy issues Denys Skaleukh ambassador of the project “Movement without barriers” Oleksandr Liutyi and others.
During the meeting were raised issues related to implementation of the principles of barrier-freeness. It was emphasized that currently many veterans and people with disabilities who have disorders of the musculoskeletal system cannot cannot visit shops and other establishments due to the lack of appropriate infrastructure in particular ramps.
In addition the possibility of involving veterans in processing issues and projects in the sphere of barrier-freeness is being considered.
