Students of all levels of higher education, including postgraduate students, full-time and part-time students and cadets, took part in the voting.
The elections to the Student-Cadet Council of the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs have concluded. The voting process was held in a mixed format — in person and through online platforms.
Overall, the participants elected 15 positions, ensuring comprehensive and effective functioning of the student-cadet self-governance bodies. According to the voting results, Maksym Khadzhyiskyi (Faculty of Training Specialists for Pre-Trial Investigation Bodies of the National Police of Ukraine) was elected Chair of the SCC of DSUIA for the second time. The positions of Deputy Chair were filled by: Sofiia Silina (Institute of Law and Innovative Education) elected from among the students, and Bohdan Stepanenko (Faculty of Training Specialists for Pre-Trial Investigation Bodies of the National Police of Ukraine) elected from among the cadets.
Voters also supported candidates for the positions of heads of departments. The elected representatives are:
● Head of the Department for Housing and Dormitory Affairs – Oleh Ovcharuk (Institute of Law and Innovative Education);
● Head of the Cultural and Mass Activities Department – Diana Prostak (Institute of Law and Innovative Education);
● Head of the Social and Humanitarian Department – Ilona Buyakova (Faculty of Training Specialists for Pre-Trial Investigation Bodies of the National Police of Ukraine);
● Head of the Department for Educational Process Organization and Quality Assurance – Kateryna Kalitenko (Institute of Law and Innovative Education);
● Head of the Scientific Work Department – Viktor Suproniuk (Faculty of Training Specialists for Pre-Trial Investigation Bodies of the National Police of Ukraine);
● Head of the Information Technologies and Public Relations Department – Dmytro Bubyr (Faculty of Training Specialists for Pre-Trial Investigation Bodies of the National Police of Ukraine);
● Head of the International Relations Department – Khrystyna Voitiuk (Institute of Law and Innovative Education);
● Head of the Sports and Tourism Department – Leonid Bilokon (Faculty of Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units of the National Police of Ukraine);
● Head of the Department for Corruption Prevention and Conflict Resolution – Angelina Borodavchenko (Institute of Law and Innovative Education);
● Head of the Fundraising Department – Veronika Dubovyk (Institute of Law and Innovative Education);
● Head of the Career Guidance and Employment Support Department – Vadym Matskevych (Faculty of Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units of the National Police of Ukraine);
● Head of the “DSUIA Student-Cadet Gender Culture Center” – Anastasiia Tsesko (Institute of Law and Innovative Education).
The approval of the new composition of the SCC of DSUIA marks the beginning of a new stage in the development of student-cadet self-governance, aimed at effective communication, supporting the initiatives of students and cadets, improving the educational environment, and implementing joint projects for the university community.
