Contractual Structures in the Regulation of Private and Public Legal Relations: A Meeting of the Scientific Club at DSUIA

NEWS

A meeting of the scientific club for cadets of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Pre-Trial Investigation Bodies of the National Police of Ukraine was held at the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs.

The event was conducted by Professor of the Department of Civil Law Disciplines Maryna Yunina, with the participation of the Head of the Department, Khrystyna Rezvorovych.

During the meeting, participants discussed the main issues related to the application of contractual structures in the regulation of private and public legal relations, as well as possible ways to address them.

In the course of the discussion, the attendees concluded that establishing an effective mechanism for clear distinction between the private-law and public-law nature of contracts is highly relevant today, as contractual obligations increasingly arise not only between private individuals but also between private entities and the state. In their presentations, participants noted that modern challenges — such as digitalization, martial law, and the development of public services — reveal gaps in legal regulation and the need to improve legislation to ensure a balance of interests between the state and citizens.

The work of scientific clubs is extremely important for forming the professional competencies of future law enforcement officers. It promotes the development of professional thinking, the ability to argue one’s position, and to propose innovative approaches to solving complex legal issues.
