The event was held as part of the All-Ukrainian campaign “16 Days Against Violence.”

A roundtable dedicated to fostering students’ understanding of the nature of violence, its forms, and its consequences took place at the Dnipro Lyceum of Security Orientation and National-Patriotic Education of the Ministry of Internal Affairs named after O. Hostishchev.

The roundtable was conducted by the lyceum’s practical psychologists, Nataliia Shynkarenko and Varvara Zhyrova, with the goal of increasing safety among young people, developing the ability to recognize dangerous situations, and seeking help in a timely manner.

During group work, lyceum students discussed ways to counteract manifestations of violence in the school environment and online, learned to express their opinions constructively, support one another, and take responsibility for the collective atmosphere.

The participants practiced skills of empathy, tolerance, and mutual respect, and concluded that seeking help is an important and correct step. In addition, the position of zero tolerance toward any forms and manifestations of violence was emphasized.

The event contributed to shaping an active civic stance among the lyceum students, strengthening their psychological resilience, and enhancing their readiness to act in challenging situations.
