At DSUIA jointly with the department of juvenile prevention of the Directorate of preventive activity of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk region was organized and conducted an interactive lecture for higher education seekers of the university and lyceum students of Dnipro Lyceum of the Ministry of Internal Affairs named after O. Hostishchev. The event took place within the framework of the campaign “16 days against violence”.
With welcoming words to the participants of the event addressed acting rector of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs candidate of technical sciences associate professor Ihor MAGDALINA and assistant to the rector of the state university on gender issues doctor of legal sciences professor Honored lawyer of Ukraine Larysa NALYVAIKO.


As speakers of the event performed senior inspector of the sector of counteraction to domestic violence of the prevention department of Dnipro district administration No. 1 of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk region police captain Lesia ROMANENKO and inspector of the sector of juvenile prevention of the prevention department of Dnipro district administration No. 1 of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk region senior police lieutenant Maksym DUBOVYK.


During the interactive event attention was focused on the concept of violence and its main types in particular cyber-violence bullying and cyberbullying. Were discussed issues of violence prevention role and key tasks of higher education seekers in preventing violence. In addition attention was focused on communication as a tool of safety and on its elements on forming a culture of safety knowledge of laws and norms that regulate counter violence etc.
