Pupils with an introductory visit visited “Interregional specialized center for search of persons missing under special circumstances”.
The excursion took place within the framework of weekend plans with the aim of familiarizing lyceum students with units and structures of the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Specialists of the center conducted an introductory excursion during which pupils of Dnipro Lyceum of security direction and national-patriotic education of the Ministry of Internal Affairs named after O. Hostishchev learned about the procedure of submitting applications regarding search for missing persons algorithm of work of search groups and modern technologies that are used during identification.
Special interest was aroused by the high-tech apparatus for DNA analysis “Andy”. The device is capable of performing up to 600 analyses during one hour which significantly accelerates the procedure of establishing identity and increases the efficiency of the center’s work.
Lyceum students noted that the excursion was extremely informative. Pupils emphasized that they understood the importance of the Center’s work and the significance of helping people in difficult life situations.
