Cadets of DSUIA demonstrated a high level of training and won prize places at the regional championship in mixed martial arts confirming sports mastery and strength of spirit.
On November 23 2025 took place the Championship of Dnipropetrovsk region in mixed martial arts MMA which united the strongest fighters of the region. Participants demonstrated endurance technique and sports character. Fights took place in a tense atmosphere and spectators saw bright knockouts and technical victories.
Cadets of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs showed a high level of training and won a number of prize places.
First places received Vitalii Naumenko (group PD-332) — 1st place weight category up to 79.4 kg and Andrii Nechytailo (group SR-331) — 1st place weight category up to 57 kg.
Second place took Artem Shapran (group SR-332) — 2nd place weight category up to 65 kg.
Third places won:
Vitalii Stepanov (group PD-332) — 3rd place weight category up to 88 kg;
Maksym Yaremenko (group SR-331) — 3rd place weight category up to 61.2 kg;
Daria Yaremenko (group SR-332) — 3rd place weight category up to 67 kg;
Vladyslav Shatov (group SR-332) — 3rd place weight category up to 65 kg;
Vladyslav Taranov (group DR-081-24-1) — 3rd place weight category up to 61.2 kg.
Organizers noted the discipline and professional level of training of cadets of DSUIA. For participants the tournament became an important stage on the way to participation in competitions of higher level. The event confirmed the popularity of MMA and gave all present a charge of positive emotions and sports spirit.
In addition representatives of the university conducted career guidance work: participants and guests of the championship learned about DSUIA specialties institutes and faculties as well as about the algorithm of admission to the university.
