DSUIA joined the working meeting of specialists in veteran support

At the invitation of the administration of the Municipal Non-Profit Enterprise “Dnipropetrovsk Multidisciplinary Clinical Hospital for Psychiatric Care” of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council, specialists working with war veterans and demobilized persons became acquainted with modern methods of treatment and rehabilitation of servicemen.

The event was attended by military veteran Andrii Formalyov and Vitalii Krysan — employees of DSUIA.

The working meeting became a space for professional dialogue, exchange of experience and strengthening of interdepartmental cooperation. The participants discussed how to support patients undergoing treatment and recovery more effectively, and the hospital team presented its approaches to supporting veterans.

During the discussion, Medical Director Nataliia Halytska-Pasichnyk emphasized the importance of systematic and team work, as well as the introduction of modern rehabilitation methods that enhance the effectiveness of assistance. Veteran support specialist Mykola Burian shared practical tools for interacting with servicemen, emphasizing an individual approach, trust and continuous communication.

Clinical psychologist Viktoriia Nefedova spoke about comprehensive psychological support for servicemen, in particular about the use of art therapy, VR tools and stress reduction techniques that help restore psychological balance.

The participation of Andrii Formalyov ensured the presence of the practical experience of a veteran-practitioner in the dialogue, contributing to a deeper understanding of the needs of servicemen and the improvement of the support provided to them.
