A curator’s session organized by the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology took place at the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs.

As part of the event, cadets of study group DR-242 from the Faculty of Training Specialists for the Pre-Trial Investigation Bodies of the National Police of Ukraine met with war veteran Vyacheslav Lysenko, who, at the beginning of the full-scale invasion by the Russian Federation, voluntarily joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine, where he served as a senior soldier and rifleman-operator in the Donetsk region.

The veteran shared his combat experience, spoke about the events that shaped him as a warrior and a citizen, and described the modern challenges of military service and the specifics of crime in frontline areas. Vyacheslav Lysenko also emphasized the importance of courage, duty, and the resilience of spirit in the struggle for the independence of the state.
This meeting was aimed at fostering patriotic awareness, strengthening national dignity, and cultivating respect for the heroism of Ukraine’s defenders.
