The event took place with the participation of the head of the sector of organization of educational safety service of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk region police lieutenant colonel Olena Tkachova within the framework of the All-Ukrainian campaign “16 days against violence”.
The meeting was opened by the deputy director of the Institute of Postgraduate Education and Distance Learning of DSUIA head of the department of organization of advanced training and specialization police colonel Oleksii Mamchii.
Olena Tkachova informed the listeners about programs on countering domestic violence and shared experience with the implementation of projects related to countering domestic and gender-based violence. In particular Olena Tkachova told about the project “Beauty Industry Against Violence” “Dad-HUB” and other initiatives.
Attention was focused on the issues of implementation of game methods of work in the activity of officers of the educational safety service aimed at preventing violence among students of general secondary education institutions.
The meeting became a meaningful platform for professional exchange contributed to increasing the competence of district police officers and strengthening interagency interaction in the sphere of ensuring the safety of children and youth.
