The event was organized by the department of criminal law disciplines of the Institute of Law and Innovative Education of DSUIA for pupils of lyceums 138 and 142 city of Dnipro.
The main goal of the event was deepening of pupils’ knowledge about criminal law and criminal legislation of Ukraine promotion of legal education and erudition of youth in the field of law as well as conducting career guidance.
During the quiz pupils also learned interesting facts from the field of criminal law.
The jury consisting of scientific-pedagogical workers of the Educational-Scientific Institute of Law and Innovative Education of DSUIA evaluated the knowledge and skills of participants based on the results of three rounds:
• Round I – “Answers to questions”;
• Round II – “Situational tasks”;
• Round III – “Creative contest ‘Solve the crime'”.
The participants of the quiz were greeted by the director of the Educational-Scientific Institute of Law and Innovative Education of DSUIA Volodymyr Shablystyi who presented diplomas and gifts to the winners and prize-winners.
In addition lyceum students were familiarized with the university requirements for applicants and specialties presented in the higher education institution.
The event became an important stage in the development of cognitive abilities of youth contributed to the formation of team work skills and critical thinking in them.
Such initiatives help increase interest in learning motivate schoolchildren to self-development.
