Preventing by police officers corruption criminal offenses in Ukraine: meeting of the scientific circle at DSUIA

The event was conducted within the framework of the All-Ukrainian campaign “16 days against violence”.

In the work of the circle took part cadets of the faculty of training specialists for pre-trial investigation bodies of the National Police of Ukraine of DSUIA and scientific-pedagogical workers of the department of criminal law and criminology.

The topic of the meeting became “Current state and problems of preventing by police officers corruption criminal offenses in Ukraine. Criminal responsibility for human trafficking in conditions of martial law”.

During the meeting were discussed current issues of preventing by police officers corruption criminal offenses in Ukraine as well as criminal responsibility for human trafficking in conditions of martial law.

Special attention was focused on the analysis of modern problems of law enforcement activity improvement of legal mechanisms of countering corruption among police workers and ensuring effective protection of rights and freedoms of citizens in conditions of martial law.

Were raised issues of preventing and countering violence in the family and society protection of rights of children and women improvement of legal mechanisms of responding to violent and illegal actions; besides were discussed ways of increasing awareness of youth regarding the problem of violence formation of value attitude to safety tolerance and responsibility for own actions as well as practical measures that can be implemented in educational institutions and law enforcement bodies.
