The event took place as part of preparations for competitions among lyceums within the Ministry of Internal Affairs system.
Table tennis training was organized for the cadets of the Dnipro Lyceum of Security and National-Patriotic Education of the Ministry of Internal Affairs named after O. Hostishchev.
The session was conducted by Valerii Melnyk, Champion of Ukraine in table tennis, who shared modern techniques and approaches to athletic excellence with the participants and demonstrated key elements of professional play.
The cadets practiced basic playing techniques, including proper ball serving, maintaining pace, racket control and defending their side of the playing area. Special attention was given to movement precision, reaction speed and tactical thinking – all essential components of effective gameplay.
The young athletes showed strong interest and motivation, continuously working on improving their personal skills. The cadets noted that they aim to represent their institution with dignity at the upcoming competitions and demonstrate a high level of preparation.
