An Off-Site Presentation of Firearms by the “Fort” Research and Production Association Took Place at DDUVS – Fort Range Day

An off-site presentation of firearms, Fort Range Day, was held at the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs. The event was organized by the “Fort” Research and Production Association of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine with the support and assistance of the university’s leadership.

The purpose of the event was to familiarize participants with the latest developments of the domestic defense-industrial complex, as well as to conduct practical testing of the reliability, quality, and operational characteristics of the showcased models.

Specialists from the “Fort” RPA demonstrated the following: the Fort-20 pistol, the Fort-230 submachine gun, the Fort-600 grenade launcher, and the Fort-20-T Simunition training pistol (designed for the use of marking ammunition).

The presentation was attended by the Acting Rector Ihor Mahdalina, Vice-Rector Police Colonel Ihor Kovalov, academic staff of the Department of Fire Training and the Department of Tactical and Special Training, university cadets, representatives of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Dnipropetrovsk region, as well as officers of special police units.

Participants had the opportunity to conduct practical shooting with the new models and assess the ergonomics, accuracy, and user convenience of the weapons.

Representatives of the “Fort” RPA of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine emphasized that such events contribute to the prompt integration of modern domestically produced firearms into the educational process and operational activities of units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
