MIA Lyceum

The event was dedicated to raising awareness about HIV/AIDS.

Students of the Dnipro Lyceum of security orientation and national-patriotic education of the Ministry of Internal Affairs named after O. Hostishchev took part in an interactive game aimed at studying the topic of HIV/AIDS and developing critical thinking. The event was conducted by the lyceum’s practical psychologist, Varvara Zhyrova.

The “truth or fake” format made it possible to dispel common myths, test personal knowledge, and learn to take a responsible approach to personal safety. The goal of the event was to demonstrate the importance of verifying information, knowing the truth about HIV/AIDS, and understanding health risks.

The students learned about the ways HIV is transmitted, practiced recognizing false information and avoiding fakes, developed critical thinking skills, understood the importance of prevention and responsible behavior, and also formed a tolerant attitude toward people living with HIV.
