Before the beginning of the professional development program, the prorector of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, police colonel Ihor Kovalov, met with the law enforcement officers.
Thirty inquiry officers and investigators from Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia and Luhansk oblasts, who specialize in the investigation of criminal offences involving children, will undergo training within the short-term professional development program.
The professional development program covers key problematic issues of criminal procedural legislation, normative-legal acts in the sphere of countering domestic violence, as well as current aspects of prevention and counteraction of crimes committed against children.
During the briefing, Ihor Kovalov called on the participants to treat the training responsibly and emphasized the importance of observing safety requirements during classes.
