As part of the nationwide campaign “16 Days Against Violence”, cadets of DDUSI familiarized themselves with literature on modern forms of slavery and human trafficking.

A thematic exhibition titled “ProtyDii”, dedicated to the International Day for the Abolition of Slavery, has been opened in the general library of the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs.

The exhibition features books and periodicals that reveal the historical aspects of slavery, contemporary forms of this crime—including human trafficking, forced labor, and sexual exploitation—as well as legal mechanisms for counteraction and the experience of international organizations in protecting human rights and freedoms.

Visitors explored materials that provide detailed coverage of criminal liability for human trafficking, procedures for identifying victims, preventive measures, and successful practices of interagency cooperation.

Such events contribute to increasing the legal awareness of cadets and higher education students, fostering intolerance toward any manifestations of violence and slavery, and enhancing the professional competencies of future officers of the National Police of Ukraine in the field of safeguarding human rights and freedoms.
