Career Guidance Zoom Conference for Lyceum Students Held by Representatives of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs

The event was conducted by the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Pre-Trial Investigation Bodies of the National Police University, Police Lieutenant Colonel Ihor Shevchenko, together with cadets.

Students of the Lyceum with enhanced military and physical training at the University of Customs and Finance took part in the meeting. The cadets shared their personal experience of studying at a higher education institution with specific training conditions, spoke about the cadets’ daily routine, the specifics of developing professional discipline, and the moral requirements for investigative units. The lyceum students received detailed explanations about the study process, the specialized subjects taught at the faculty, and the skills most necessary for successful service.

Special attention was given to the rules and stages of the admission campaign, opportunities for further employment in pre-trial investigation units, and the advantages of choosing a police career. The lyceum students actively participated in the discussion, asking questions about future service, living conditions, and career prospects.

The open dialogue format became an important step in helping senior students define their career paths and allowed them to better understand the challenges, responsibilities, and opportunities of working in the National Police of Ukraine. The online meeting was held in a friendly and informative atmosphere, giving the lyceum students an opportunity to view the law enforcement profession through the eyes of those who have already chosen this path.
