The events were conducted by the Department of Tactical and Special Training of the Educational and Scientific Institute for Training Specialists for Preventive Units of the National Police of Ukraine.

The sessions were led by military veteran and staff member of the Department of Tactical and Special Training, Illia Norkin, and Senior Lecturer of the same department, Police Lieutenant Colonel Valerii Bilichenko.

During the training, comprehensive educational and practical modules were practiced, aimed at improving skills in topography, small-group tactics, engineering training, and cooperation with aerial reconnaissance units.

Within the topography block, participants practiced terrain orientation, determining movement directions under various conditions, using cartographic materials, and employing digital navigation tools. Special attention was given to the use of secure communication channels, particularly the specialized messenger MilChat, for transmitting coordinates and ensuring internal communication within the unit.

While practicing small-group tactics, cadets gained practical skills in operating as a unit, assaulting firing positions, and overcoming engineering barriers. Algorithms for coordinating actions using UAVs were worked out, including obtaining reconnaissance information, adjusting movement routes, conducting evacuation, and performing real-time observation.

Within the engineering training block, participants studied the specifics of constructing fortification structures, the basics of overcoming engineering obstacles, and organizing defensive positions. Attention was focused on developing teamwork skills, organizing stable radio communication, and adhering to safety measures.
