Within the framework of the All-Ukrainian campaign «16 Days Against Violence», criminal investigation officers met with military veteran Denys Kalchuk.
During the meeting were raised issues of non-discrimination and equal treatment of persons with disabilities, features of communication of police officers with citizens of the corresponding category, legal aspects of protection of the rights of persons with disabilities, as well as practical recommendations regarding avoidance of discriminatory actions during the performance of official duties.
Such lessons contribute to the formation among criminal investigation officers of a culture of tolerance, professional ethics and humanistic worldview, increase of the level of readiness for correct interaction with persons with disabilities and strengthening of public trust in the National Police of Ukraine.
