Lecturers and higher education applicants prepared creative numbers in order to express their gratitude to the guests of the event.
At the event were invited military personnel who are undergoing rehabilitation and are staying in the city of Dnipro.
The event began with the performance of the State Anthem of Ukraine and a minute of silence for honouring the memory of fallen warriors.
To the guests with a welcoming speech and words of gratitude addressed the Acting Rector of DSUIA Ihor Mahdalina. He thanked the military for the protection, congratulated on the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and wished strong health.
Cadets, students and pupils of the Dnipro Lyceum of Security Orientation and National-Patriotic Education of the Ministry of Internal Affairs named after O. Hostishchev prepared a concert programme and performed with vocal, choreographic and other creative numbers.
Such events contribute to strengthening the moral-psychological support of the defenders of Ukraine, formation of patriotic values among higher education applicants and lyceum pupils, as well as underline the unity between civil society and the military in the struggle for sovereignty and territorial integrity of the state.
