Twenty-four listeners of the Department of Professional Development and Specialization of the Institute of Postgraduate Education and Distance Learning of DSUIA successfully completed training and received certificates.
District police officers represent Dnipropetrovsk, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv and Khmelnytskyi oblasts.
During four weeks, district police officers underwent specialization during which they mastered topics on constitutionalism, human rights, stress resistance, effective communication. The listeners also studied anti-corruption legislation, underwent firearms and tactical training. Special attention during the training was focused on the specifics of the activity of a district police officer.
At the end, the listeners passed a comprehensive exam that consisted of theoretical and practical parts.
The graduates were met by the prorector of DSUIA, police colonel Ihor Kovalov. He emphasized the importance of continuous professional development and improvement of practical skills in modern conditions, and also handed the graduates the corresponding certificates.
