New successful graduate of the Barrier-Free Driving School of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs Mykhailo received a category “B” driving licence. The document was solemnly handed over by the head of the Department of Automotive Training Yevhenii Khokhlov.
Kharkiv resident Mykhailo, who has musculoskeletal disorders and previously had no driving experience, applied to the Barrier-Free Driving School of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs.
The man mastered the theoretical part of the training programme on his own, and practical classes were held in the city of Dnipro. According to him, the first exit onto a busy highway caused some excitement, but the high professionalism of the instructors allowed him to quickly gain confidence in driving. Now Mykhailo plans to purchase his own car (estate) for greater convenience of movement.
The Barrier-Free Driving School of DSUIA continues to implement the policy of inclusiveness and barrier-free environment, creating conditions for high-quality driver training for persons with disabilities and military veterans.
