The event was held at the Biopharma Plasma Dnipro donor center to mark International Volunteer Day.
Blood plasma was donated by DSUIA cadets and participants of the qualification enhancement and specialization program at the Institute of Postgraduate Education and Distance Learning.
The monetary compensation received was fully directed by the donors to support a project helping children undergoing treatment for oncological diseases at the Regional Family Health Medical Center.
Students, cadets, and university staff are active participants in the volunteer donor movement and regularly donate blood and its components for the needs of medical institutions.
Such initiatives contribute to fostering a high level of social responsibility among higher education students and university employees, developing a culture of volunteerism, strengthening humanistic values, and implementing the principles of compassion and mutual assistance within the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
